What is YFoot ?

@@@@Yonezawa By Foot (YFoot) is a group of volunteer guides for tours in Yonezawa City. We help international visitors enjoy their visit and have good memories of Yonezawa, the city known for its spirit of "osho shina" or thankfulness. Established in September 2000, YFoot organizes and manages guided tours around Yonezawa in English and possibly in other languages. Through these activities, we hope to have better international awareness and reputation of Yonezawa.

What does YFoot do ?
@@@@YFoot develops various tours around Yonezawa. YFoot organizes tours for international visitors and residents. Our tours visit interesting places in Yonezawa such as the Uesugi shrine, and the Uesugi mausoleum, Denkoku-no-mori, sake-breweries, woodcarving workshops, and local festivals etc.
